A Brief and Highly Unreliable

History of Seismique

(Formerly the Bed, Bath, and Beyond on HWY 6. We ditched the bed and bath, kept the beyond)

Roughly 42 Glarnockian years ago, give or take a pandemic time-alter, a group of alien scientists from the Glarnockian Galaxy (known mostly for their experimental sock vaporization technology) crashed onto Earth. Their ship, The Budget Infinity, was brought down by interference from Earth’s most dangerous natural resource: Wi-Fi.

Marooned and mildly inconvenienced, the Glarnocks did what any stranded intergalactic lifeform would do, they built a secret lab inside a defunct roadside retail store. Using what they assumed were Earth’s most powerful elements (e.g., caffeine, glitter glue, and expired batteries), they began reverse-engineering a way home.

They dubbed their new base Seismique, though Earth locals still call it "that weird building that hums at night and smells like Windex."

Recently, the Glarnocks discovered human “emotions” may be the missing component needed to fuel their transdimensional escape drive. They’ve begun collecting these emotions through strange “social experiments” disguised as E.X.H.I.B.I.Ts (Emotion Xtraction Hypersensory Immersion But It’s Technology).

All of the exhibits play a role in the function and intention of Seismique (though some are there just because!) These roles can be broken up into 5 categories:
